First Time Photographers

We spent yesterday in Switzerland, taking the boys on their very first photo shoot. Our fingers nearly froze off to bring you these excellent shots. We hiked to Boelchenflueh, trying to get above the fog, but didn't have any luck. Then we went to Aarau, a city Garrett served his mission and took some pix there too.

This street canal and tree pictures were taken by Fantastic Sam.

The archway and clock tower pictures were taken by Marvelous Jacob.

The city buildings and Garr and me pictures were taken by Awesome Mason. Mason took a picture of us while I took a picture of them!

Joe's picture is the snowy forest one at the bottom--pretty good for a less than one megapixel fisher price camera!

Sweet!

So does that scenery look as amazing and foreign and special to you as it does to all of us? Or are you immune to its charms, now? If so, I guess rats and hairy armpits and foul-mouthed army brats could definitely do that to ya.

I think I like Joe's photo best-- I want to title it "On the road to the troll's lair."

Heather,
What's up? So how long have you been in Germany? Found your blog through Angie Hammonds through Charie's (I know so many blogs). I would love to keep in touch with you guys. I think the last time we talked was right after you had your twins (amybe they were 2) at Walmart. Time sure flies by. We also have a blog www.justusjorgys.blogspot.com. Check us out. Take care. I'd love to keep checking up on you if that is OK? Take care.

Happy New Year, Woods! You guys are quite the photographers. I particularly love the first and last ones. But not more than the one of JoJO on the tote. I'm still chuckling about that one...

Well, the photographic gene definitely runs in the family! I'm so impressed!! How fun everyone to get to take pictures. maybe now we can see a few more pics of you and Garr too--since the boys are pretty great photographers too!

I got to talk to Mason this morning when he called...it was so fun. He taught me how to say a few things in German (but don't count on me to remember how!). Man! I miss you guys.

Sorry Heather-I gave you the wrong blog address it's justjorgys.blogspot.com. I guess that happens when I never type in my own blog name. Take care and keep in touch.

oh man! We are getting our list of choices the first week of Feb. Cameron keeps making all these sly remarks preparing me that if Germany is listed he wants to go there. I guess it's not so bad!! You always make it look so awesome. But I'm such a scardy-cat. We may be there with you in Sept. Maybe not. Who knows. Seriously, though you make it look awesome!

You don't know me, but I found your blog through another member of the church. I loved your story of being in the post office with all the kids. That is so my life. I have 3 boys. I love looking at the pictures. We lived this summer in Switzerland, and some of your post reminded me of what it was like going over seas. Thanks!
