This picture was taken in Pella, Iowa. Last year we visited a week too late and most of the flowers were dead. This year we visited with my mom, the last week in April, and most of the tulips hadn't bloomed yet. I promised my mom that next year we would do a real European tulip town experience!

Sorry. The previous deleted comment was mine, but after publishing it I realized I had made a gross spelling error. So I tried to edit it, but I ended up deleting it, and now what I was GOING to say, seems anticlimatic, but it went something like this: Your picture is lovely but I have high hopes for your future posts and pictures. After all, if Europe can't show up Pella, IA, then what kind of world are we living in?

Gorgeous picture. Not that I'm surprised. Garrett could do a photography blog with all his talents... and all his spare time!

I love Pella! Of course, you'll be near Holland where the REAL tulips are . . . lucky!
